We actually did! We stayed at an amazing guest house that while out of the “official” rainforest was still in the middle of it. If you’re heading back you have to stay at the Escondido Guest House. Amazing owners and you get to experience it completely with a breathtaking view. Only bad thing was we only stayed on night. http://www.elescondido.com/

I loved the nighttime noises as well and all the tropical frogs/birds! I wish we could have stayed in the rainorest when the sun went down to keep listening!

I absolutely loved all the life around the island. I fell in love with the Coqui and their sound. I swear I am going to make one of my recordings my ringtone. By the time we went back to San Juan it felt so quiet without it.
